aiuto su tipo di pagamento

ciao ragazzi,
nel mio sito ogni utente ha un campo nel database 'customers_tipo_pagamento' dove c'è scritto il metodo di pagamento che gli deve essere attribuito.
questo valore lo imposto da admin e vorrei fare in modo che quando l'utente effettua un ordine, gli venga messo questo valore nel campo 'payment_method' relativo a quell'ordine.
come posso fare?
ho provato a vedere e sembra ke devo modificare il file includes/classes/order.php
qui di seguito vi posto il contenuto di questo file in modo da poterci lavorare.
traticamente devo fare una query prelevando il valore 'customers_tipo_pagamento' nella tabella customers e attribuire a payment_method questo valore.
